hey, i'm maria!

I made this site because I wanted somewhere to put my projects and photos that wasn't just another resume PDF sitting in a folder.

I'm a CS major with an Economics minor and an AI certificate at UF, graduating December 2027. I've interned at Fifth Third Bank (AWS cost-reduction stuff with Terraform and Lambda), Northrop Grumman, and Arystech.

Backend and infra are my favorite parts of software, honestly because nobody notices them until something breaks. Cloud is basically the invisible layer quietly holding everything together, and I like being the person who actually gets what's going on underneath. Working toward a SWE role in NYC after I graduate.

When I'm not at my laptop, I'm probably at the gym, cooking something, traveling if I can swing it, or curled up with a book.
